On Found Money.

How do we respond when our ship called life is torn apart? What is belief without being tested? What is the right thing to do? What is the purpose of weeds?

Within the last few days, I have found two wallets and two cell phones. It amazes me that phones don’t have a way to call the owner of a lost phone (they could have two phones or voicemail) and then again I can understand it from a make money standpoint.

You sell more phones. I thought it would be good for people to put an throwaway email on the side so that someone could let them know that they found their phone.

One lady was really happy that I found her phone. When I asked if anyone had lost their phone one couple just moved away quickly and the valet at the hotel must of been having a bad day because he didn’t want to do anything and finally someone came out and I told them what happened and then the female owner appeared simultaneously. I was glad that I didn’t have to take it to the police.

The other phone was on and I returned it to the church just to get rid of it.

Hoping they would do the right thing and yet one never knows even when you give to someone who should “do the right thing.”

The wallets were from Omaha and I dropped them in the mailbox and wondered if the mailperson would attempt to reconnect them with their owner.

When I was in high school, Bishop O’Hara in Dunmore, Pa now Holy Cross I was walking down the hall someone dropped some money and I made sure that they got it back and then getting on the bus a woman drops a stack of food stamps. At one time they came in booklets and had various denominations. Now people use a card. Wonder if those shown below had an expiration date on them. The woman was happy.

And then I went to the movies and as I started to sit down I noticed a wallet and when I looked in it it had $500 dollars and when I looked at the spot people were supposed to put pictures they had placed credit cards instead.
